Barry, known for his clumsiness, was showcasing his prized “Wolfsbane Mutant Shirt” at the comic con. He’d spent months painstakingly crafting it – a vibrant green, ripped just so, with a faux-fur collar that shed like a husky in summer. He was mid-sentence, regaling a small crowd about the shirt’s supposed ability to ward off werewolves (a complete fabrication, of course), when disaster struck.
He reached dramatically for a prop vial of “fake Wolfsbane” (green food coloring in water), tripped over a stray cable, and launched the vial skyward. It arced gracefully, then landed with a sploosh directly onto the chest of his Wolfsbane Mutant Shirt. The green dye, reacting with the cheap fabric, immediately bled, turning Barry into a swamp thing. He looked down, horrified, at the now-blotchy, green-stained masterpiece. “Well,” he stammered, “I guess… it repelled… something?” The crowd chuckled, unsure if this was part of the act.
